Your role


Have you got what it takes to be a technology consultant? Your role is to help clients unlock trapped value by identifying and addressing strategic and operational challenges. You’ll do this as part of a talented and passionate team of Accenture consultants that is committed to make a difference for citizens across Europe.


Your focus while counselling clients is bringing technology expertise to the table: helping them understand and decide how to apply upcoming (e.g. AI, internet of things) and proven technologies (mobile, cloud, security) to overcome their challenges and achieve their goals.


As an experienced addition to our team, we expect you to take a few junior colleagues under your wing: help them to make meaningful contributions and develop themselves to follow in your tracks.

Your responsibilities will include:


  • Contributing to identifying, shaping and driving home opportunities to deliver client value often leveraging information technology;

  • Helping our clients discover and formulate strategic and operational challenges (e.g. assess an application landscape);

  • Advising our clients on how to implement organizational, process and technology changes to create value (e.g. define a technology strategy and a roadmap for implementation), presenting available options and providing guidance in our client’s best interests;

  • Translating complex objectives into a work plan considering the available human and technical resources;

  • Coaching a team in executing a work plan in line with project priorities;

  • Organize, prepare and drive meetings with client and internal stakeholders;

  • Collaborating across Accenture’s international ecosystem to bring our clients the best of our expertise;

  • Continuously honing your skills to remain market-relevant and inspiring others to do the same.

 

Qualifications:

  • A university degree, preferably in exact sciences, (business) engineering, ICT or with a technology affinity; 

  • Proficient in Dutch, French & English;

  • Experience in connecting business and IT stakeholders – able to explain complex subjects in understandable terms;

  • Proven to perform well in a team (in a project or other context) and able to inspire a team to achieve results;

  • Fundamental understanding of IT concepts (e.g. application vs. infrastructure, environment, release, data migration) and the software delivery lifecycle (waterfall, agile and hybrid methodologies);

  • Preferably some hands-on experience with technology (e.g. data modelling, basic programming, machine learning, business intelligence)
