As part of Accenture’s leading Robotic Process Automation (RPA) practice in Luxembourg, I have been involved in several RPA projects ranging from discovery, delivery, architecture design and Target Operating Model (TOM) set up. I have a deep understanding of the technology, how it works and how to implement it at scale within large, complex organizations. One of my key achievements is being part of the team that put the first Blue Prism RPA robot in production in Luxembourg. As an active member of the RPA community, I regularly lead RPA awareness sessions, have trained many resources both for clients and within Accenture and am a regular contributor on the topic through presentations, articles and Accenture’s recognized RPA methodology.
Having explored what Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is, the key benefits and how to approach it, let’s look at the all-important question of when to use it. Here are 4 simple rules to help you quickly evaluate whether a task is ripe for automation.
